Lidice Memorial, an organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, keeps lasting memory of the annihilation of Lidice, which was razed to the ground by the German Nazi, June 10, 1942.

Velka Amerika is a breathtaking limestone quarry 2,500 feet long, 500 feet wide and 250 feet deep with a 60 feet deep lake at the bottom. This is one of the most photogenic attractions in the Czech republic and is popular with photographers and movie makers.

Varone Waterfalls, 1,5 h. stop 50€

This waterfall originates from the turquoise waters of the Magnone Torrent that flows below the spectacular Lago di Tenno. The watercourse crashes down into a 73-metre gorge which was dug out over time by the tireless eroding power of water that has also formed two caves: a lower one and a higher one where you can see the waters flowing into the mountain itself.

The impressive Castel Trostburg at Ponte Gardena in the Valle Isarco valley hosts the South Tyrolean Castles Museum. one of the most splendid castles of South Tyrol, is located on a natural rocky promontory above Ponte Gardena (Waidbruck). The history of the castle dates back to the 12th century – it was mentioned for the first time in 1173 as place of residence of a certain “Cunrat de Trosperch” (Konrad of Trostberg), descending from the Lords of Castelrotto.
